Privacy notice
This notice covers the LottoForesight informational website and Lottery Backup, its operator's private backup utility. The backup utility is being configured; automated Google Drive backups are not yet active.
Website visitors
This informational site has no accounts, advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or Google sign-in. The server processes technical connection information, including your IP address and requested page, to deliver the website. The site configuration does not enable HTTP access logging. Operational error logs may contain technical information needed to troubleshoot the service.
Contact messages
Messages sent to hello@lottoforesight.com are forwarded through Porkbun to the operator's existing email inbox. Your email address and message are used to respond to your inquiry. Messages are kept while needed to handle the inquiry and related follow-up; you may request deletion using the contact address below. Replies may come from the operator's existing email address.
Google Drive access for Lottery Backup
Lottery Backup is intended solely for the operator's own Google account. It uses rclone to connect to Google Drive and restic to encrypt and manage database backups. It requests the limited Google Drive permission drive.file to work with files created by or explicitly made available to the application. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Photos, or the entire contents of Drive.
The intended use of this access is to create backup files, retrieve them for integrity checks and recovery, and manage backup retention when configured. The utility processes backup file contents and the identifiers and metadata needed to manage those files. It does not use Google account data for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models.
Storage, sharing, and security
Backup contents are encrypted by restic before upload to the operator's Google Drive account. OAuth credentials and the backup password are held in private configuration on the operator's devices and server; they are not part of this website. Google stores the uploaded encrypted files. Backup data and authorization credentials are not sold or provided to other website visitors.
Access is limited to the operator and the infrastructure used to perform backup and recovery. Encryption does not replace protecting the Google account, devices, credentials, and recovery password.
Retention and control
Automatic cloud backup retention and deletion are not yet configured. Once backups are uploaded, they remain until removed by the operator or a configured retention process. Local recovery copies are managed separately.
The operator can disconnect Lottery Backup through their Google Account's third-party connections settings and remove the local authorization configuration. Revoking access prevents future authorized operations; it does not automatically delete files already stored in Drive or local recovery copies. Those must be removed separately when no longer required.
